FC Monmouth Announce Home Turf As The Club's Official Training Partner

FC Monmouth is proud to start of the new year by announcing Home Turf as it’s official training partner for 2024. Home Turf will feature on the club’s training kit as well as on the squad’s practice pinnie.

Home Turf, located off of NJ RT 35S in Oakhurst, right down the road from Monmouth mall boasts a 20,000 sq foot facility that can suit all of your indoor sporting needs.

Home Turf owner Jon Crawford-Phillips weighed in on his time in Monmouth County and how Home Turf supports local soccer at all levels in the area.

“Im from England originally. Big fan of the sport [soccer], big fan of the game. My kids play a lot, so I got kind of involved in in the youth, the youth soccer world over here and saw a need for year round indoor training facilities in the area. So I started Home Turf in December of 2020".

Home Turf helps local players in the area by being a space for indoor team training, camps, and individual sessions.

“This facility is really just kind of being involved in helping raise the standards and the profile of the game in this area from youth clubs now up to the adult level” Crawford explains.

Crawford has been a supporter of FC Monmouth since the clubs first season.

He attested that “My first memory of FC Monmouth game actually was the first season. It was the first ever home game that I went to. I've been taking my kids to as many home games as we can over years and yes, it’s a great, a great great environment, great atmosphere.”

With Home Turf’s next generation turf, year round programs for soccer and baseball, and now involvement with semi professional soccer in Monmouth County, the facility is poised for success in 2024.

“We’re looking to reach more people, more clubs, and hopefully expand to more locations that we can find in Monmouth County for the future” Crawford says.
