Home of FC Monmouth: Count Basie Park, Red Bank, NJ
We are excited to announce that FC Monmouth will play its 2018 season home games at Count Basie Park in Red Bank. Our new home stadium offers the community environment that we have envisioned and helps us build on our mission to connect, entertain and inspire Monmouth County.
Count Basie Park is located on Henry Street in Red Bank, close to Garden State Park Way exit 109. As we represent all of Monmouth County, it is important to us that our games are easily accessible to all in the area and Red Bank offers the vicinity to people ranging from Middletown to Asbury Park and from Freehold to Long Branch, and around and in between. #WeAreMonmouth
At the same time we're proud that we're playing our games in Red Bank, a cultural and economic center in Monmouth County and New Jersey at large. We will be working with the town and local businesses to provide a fun family and fan experience beyond just the game. Count Basie Park itself can hold at least a few thousand attending fans as local Red Bank Catholic football games have proven, and during our games you can enjoy food and drinks at a concession stand and entertainment before the game starts.
In the stadium named after Red Bank jazz legend William James "Count" Basie it's hard not to get inspired as a current or future player. Just as he used his talents and determination to go from playing in a small New Jersey town to making it across the country innovating his 'game' and inspiring new generations, FC Monmouth will only be the first step for many of our players making a successful career and helping build US Soccer.
We look forward to welcoming you all to Count Basie Park in Red Bank this Spring. Stay tuned for the 2018 playing schedule that will be announced within the next few weeks.
