Monmouth County Celebrates FC Monmouth Launch

Sunday December 17th over 100 people came together at Wayside Technology Headquarters in Eatontown, NJ to celebrate the launch of a new soccer experience in Monmouth County. Freeholder Arnone, Eatontown Mayor Connelly and Fair Haven Councilman Rodriguez joined dozens of other soccer fans to watch a launch video of what ended up being FC Monmouth, a new soccer team joining the North East Division of the NPSL, a national semi-pro soccer Spring/Summer league underneath MLS and NASL.

Managing Director of NPSL, Jeff Thiffault, was there to welcome FC Monmouth to the league. And Tony Novo, the General Manager of New Jersey's Women Pro team Sky Blue FC was also there to speak in support of FC Monmouth as we all want to offer a more accessible way for kids and their families to enjoy and be part of soccer in NJ.

After the speakers finished, the attendees enjoyed their time together at the bar, making balloons and getting (FC Monmouth!) tattoos with Bubbles and Sudz and showed off their new FC Monmouth t-shirts and hoodies. Click through some of the event pictures below.
