FC Monmouth travels to face West Chester United SC in one of two Keystone Conference Semifinal games that will be played on Friday night. Atlantic City FC and FC Motown will clash on the other side of the bracket. The playoff appearance is the second in club history for FC Monmouth, and it will look for its first-ever playoff victory. West Chester, who ranks third in the NPSL, finished the regular season with a conference-leading 27 points. They also featured the second-highest scoring offense with 30 goals.

FC Monmouth fell in its regular season finale, 3-1, to Atlantic City FC on Wednesday, July 7. Atlantic City jumped out to an early 1-0 advantage, and FC Monmouth came back with four-straight shots. That momentum generated a goal as the first half came to a close, as defender Adrian Barajas scored off a corner kick from midfielder Chase Covello. Atlantic City responded in the second half, however, as it scored the go-ahead goal in the 63rd minute. They were able to add one more in the 90th minute, wrapping up the regular season for both sides.
ABOUT WEST CHESTER UNITED SC
Founded in 2017, West Chester United SC has qualified for the playoffs in every season of its existence. In its debut season, the club went 6-2-2 before falling in the Keystone Conference Semifinals. The following season, they went 7-3-0 and won their first ever playoff game. They were defeated by FC Motown in the Keystone Conference Final. Most recently, they went 7-2-1 during the 2019 season, losing in the semifinals.
West Chester leads the all-time series 2-1-0. They defeated FC Monmouth 2-0 on Saturday, June 26 in the only meeting between the clubs in 2021.

The 26 regular season goals for FC Monmouth are the most in club history. The previous record of 18 was set in 2019.
