RED BANK, NJ - Brian Woods will return for his third-straight season as the Head Coach of FC Monmouth for the upcoming 2020 season. Peter-John Falloon and John Killick will be returning for their third season as Assistant Coaches on Woods’ staff, and 2019 midfielder Bryant Knibbs will return as a Player/Coach.

In two seasons with FC Monmouth, Woods has a record of 11-7-2, including at least five wins in each season. He also led the club to the postseason in its first-ever season of competition in 2018, where it fell in the Keystone Conference Semifinals to FC Motown. In 2019, Woods helped guide the team to a 5-1-1 start, and also led it to the top of the conference for the first time in team history.

Falloon and Killick both will return for their third season on the coaching staff, and will be joined by Knibbs, who will function as both a player and a coach. During the 2019 season as a player, Knibbs played and started in nine games, tallying four goals and one assist. He was one of two players to score a goal in four-consecutive games, which is the longest streak for a player in team history. Knibbs also played the full 90 minutes in eight of his nine games, finishing fourth on the team in minutes. Knibbs will be the second Player/Coach in team history, with Nick LaBrocca being the first last season.

FC Monmouth will begin its third season in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) this upcoming May.
