Big Night for Zabilowicz

In his first career start for FC Monmouth, goalkeeper Trevor Zabilowicz played the full 90 minutes in net, allowing just one goal while saving two shots. Zabilowicz became the fourth goalkeeper in FC Monmouth history to win his first career start, with the other three being Scott Weigel (5/26/18), Malcom Moreira (6/23/18), and Jake Leahy (5/18/19).

Strong Defense

FC Monmouth surrendered a goal on nine shots during the 90 minutes, with only three of those shots being on target. In the five games played so far this season, FC Monmouth has allowed five or fewer shots on target in four of them, with the exception being the 5-1 loss at New Jersey Copa FC on May 22nd. In three of those four games, they have held opponents to three or fewer shots on target, while posting two shutouts through five games.

Season-High in Goals

FC Monmouth scored a season-high three goals in Saturday’s win over Hershey FC, with the goals coming from three different players. It also was the second multi-goal game of the season, with the other being the 2-0 victory over New Jersey Copa FC on May 18th. Forward Regsan Watkins scored a team-leading third goal of the season, while midfielder Dylan Fogerty and defender Pablo Fonseca each scored the first of their FC Monmouth careers.
