FC Monmouth will host Atlantic City FC in their highly-anticipated home opener this Saturday at Count Basie Park in a rematch of the first game of the NPSL season. Monmouth enters their home opener coming off of a 3-0 loss on the road to FC Motown last weekend.
The roles are reversed this time as FC Monmouth will now be playing hosts to Atlantic City FC for their home opener. The two brand-new clubs played their first-ever NPSL matches against each other back on May 9th at Stockton University. On that occasion, Atlantic City were 2-0 winners with goals from winger Cam Vickers and striker Sidney Rivera.
Similarly to Monmouth, Atlantic City’s following match on May 12th versus New Jersey Copa FC was postponed due to weather concerns. The Aces played their second match of the season at home to Junior Lone Star FC last weekend, where they were defeated 1-0.

Home Opener Fan Information
The gates at Count Basie Park in Red Bank, New Jersey will open up for fans at 5 p.m., with kickoff slated for 6 p.m. You can find directions to our home venue here.

FC Monmouth’s home opener will be provided with live music by VyntEdge, “A 5 piece Classic Rock n' Blues Rock Cover Band comprised of Veteran Jersey Shore area Musicians playing songs we all remember from the late '60's -'90's the way they were intended to be”.
Local travel team Red Bank FC will walk out the players of both teams ahead of the national anthem/kickoff and they will help us as ball kids on their own home turf during the game. There will also be plenty of free/fun activities for kids and fans to take part in before the match.
The winner of the FC Monmouth Mascot Contest will be announced during halftime.

About Atlantic City FC
Founded in 2017, Atlantic City FC is joining FC Monmouth in their first ever season in the NPSL’s Keystone Conference.
After defeating FC Monmouth in their home opener and seeing their following match postponed, the Aces were defeated at home by Junior Lone Star FC last weekend.
Atlantic City FC is coached by former Swansea City FC player/coach Kristian O’Leary. Their squad consists of players with professional, international, and college experience.
