FC Monmouth Wears Macron - Technical Sportswear From Italy

My first 'soccer' memory was "Toto Schillaci!". It was the 1990 Fifa World Cup in Italy, at the beginning of the golden era for Italian Serie A calcio, and with other kids in the school yard we were trading soccer cards and enacting what we had seen on TV. Toto Schillaci scored almost every game he played (except against the United States) and became top scorer that tournament. We all "wanted to be Toto Schillaci" including all the passionate gestures and movements. The passion of how Italians experience soccer has inspired me to visit various games in "Il Bel Paese", play for a local team there and bring this experience to Monmouth County.

Many more soccer memories later, we are proud to announce that FC Monmouth has partnered with Italy based Macron as our official technical sponsor, providing the player kits and coaching outfits and other technical sportswear. Macron is an Italian sporting apparel company, based in Crespellano, the Metropolitan City of Bologna, and founded almost 50 years ago. Through the Macron Store Connecticut we get access to that combination of passion for soccer and focus on quality that we know from Italy, plus the great service of the team in Connecticut!

Macron partners with hundreds of soccer teams across the globe including SS Lazio, Bologna FC 1909 and Cagliari Calcio in the Italian Serie A, Crystal Palace FC and Stoke City FC in the English Premier League, and many others across European leagues such as Real Club Deportivo de la Coruna (Spain), OCG Nice (France), Vitesse (the Netherlands), PAOK FC (Greece) and Sporting Clube de Portugal (Portugal). In the US the only higher level teams working with Macron are Miami FC (NASL and this year also NPSL) and Phoenix Rising FC so far.
